Our adult day services and vocational habilitation program offers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities a structured, supportive setting where they can build independence, develop practical skills, and take part in meaningful daily work.

Participants spend much of their time on our large campus, working alongside animals and contributing to the life of the shelter. Through this hands-on environment, they practice and develop life, job, and social skills in real situations, which include caring for animals, following routines, communicating with others, and completing tasks that matter.

The program is designed to foster independence. Participants are encouraged to take on responsibility and grow in confidence, while our staff remain nearby to provide guidance, encouragement, and companionship. The result is a setting that is both purposeful and welcoming: people learn by doing, form connections, and experience the rewards of working with animals and being part of a community.
